T he urge to create is compulsory with most humans, but for Elizabeth, the art of invention and problem solving, the ability to exercise her creative spirit is as important as having air to breathe. Working with metal, textiles, clay, web design and kitchen utensils (cooking), this site represents a glimpse of her creative talent and trends.
She enjoys Techno and Mechanical themes, and feels the most accomplished when she is able to recycle and re-purpose found objects into her art. She draws inspiration from the relentless process of growth and decay. Her forms are frequently decorated to look "weathered", an indicator of the rust that reclaims even the strongest materials to their origins in time.
She also helps her husband with his sign company, designing wood and metal signs, and cutting the steel ones with her PlasmaCAM.
